What is Accutite?
AccuTite delivers precision heating to small and delicate areas of the face and body, with the science and safety recognized with the Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) family of technologies.Luciana Yacomotti M.D.
Accutite is a brand of skin tightening treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. It is a non-invasive procedure that is performed in a medical office and typically takes 30-60 minutes to complete.

How does Accutite work?
AccuTite employs radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RAFL) technology
It has the dual capability of tightening skin and liquefying fat cells. Radiofrequency is a powerful yet gentle form of heat energy that occurs naturally. It causes immediate contraction of the protein fibers within the skin, resulting in instantaneous skin tightening effects.
The RF thermal energy also has a long-lasting impact by encouraging the body to produce collagen and elastin, two vital components that help in maintaining tight, firm skin that doesn’t sag. Collagen provides a strong, supportive structure beneath the skin, while elastin enables it to recoil and stay taut.
Furthermore, the warm radiofrequency energy works by melting unwanted fat cells and causing them to be absorbed and eliminated by the body over time. This process results in a tighter, smoother appearance in the treatment area as if the skin has been shrink-wrapped after excess fat has been melted away.

What areas can be treated with Accutite?
AccuTite can treat several areas of your body.
While other skin tightening treatments work well for larger areas of the body like the abdomen or buttocks, they may be too powerful or large to treat small, delicate areas such as the knees, eyelids, or female genitals, which can be a source of concern for many people. Drooping eyelids can make someone appear older, sagging knees can affect a woman’s confidence in wearing skirts or shorts, and wrinkled labia can undermine a woman’s self-confidence in intimate settings.
AccuTite is an effective non-surgical alternative for treating these areas and more. It is a precise and gentle procedure that can provide skin tightening in delicate areas, such as the eyes or brow, without the pain and expense of surgery.
AccuTite can also reduce nasolabial folds, commonly known as “laugh lines,” as well as minimize puppet lines that run down the chin from the corners of the mouth. It is also effective for removing bra rolls or back fat, which often bulges out when wearing a bra. Upper arms, also known as “bingo wings” or “bat wings,” can also be treated with AccuTite.
Furthermore, AccuTite’s precision and sensitivity allow for effective tightening and smoothing of loose skin in areas such as the hands, thighs, belly, and even the labia “lips” for vaginal rejuvenation.
The procedure is often used to treat sagging skin on the face, neck, and body, and can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging. After the treatment, patients may experience some swelling, redness, and tenderness in the treated area, but these side effects typically resolve within a few days. The results of the treatment are typically visible within a few weeks and can last for several months or longer.
Is Accutite safe?
AccuTite is a safe procedure.
AccuTite utilizes a natural form of heat energy called radiofrequency that is 100% safe and has been approved by the FDA for use. During the treatment, built-in heat sensors continuously monitor the temperature of the skin, and the device automatically shuts off if it becomes too hot. This ensures a safe and comfortable experience for the patient.
How Accutite is done?
AccuTite can be done outpatient.
During your AccuTite treatment, you will first receive a local anesthetic to ensure a comfortable and pain-free experience. Once the area is numb, a small probe will be inserted beneath your skin, and an electrode will be placed on the surface of your skin.
The radiofrequency energy will then gently flow from the probe to the electrode, liquefying fat cells and tightening the skin around the treatment area. The procedure usually takes between 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and number of areas being treated.
Unlike other skin tightening procedures, only one AccuTite treatment per area is typically necessary to achieve the desired results.

What is the recovery time for Accutite?
AccuTite offers a rapid recovery.
One of the main advantages of AccuTite Skin Tightening is its minimal invasiveness, which results in very little downtime. Since there are no incisions made during the procedure, there is very little swelling or redness to recover from. While patients may experience some soreness or tenderness for a few days, it typically lasts no longer than a week.
Most AccuTite patients are able to resume their daily activities within just 2 or 3 days, making it a convenient and practical option for those with busy schedules.
When Accutite results can be seen?
AccuTite results are most noticeable around 6 weeks.
The results of AccuTite Skin Tightening are visible right after the procedure, with patients noticing some fat loss and immediate skin contraction. Over time, as the body produces more collagen and elastin, the skin becomes tighter and more firm.
Typically, the most noticeable results are seen after around 6 weeks, with continued improvement for up to a year after the procedure. What’s even more impressive is that the results of AccuTite skin tightening can last for up to 5 years!
To maximize the longevity of the results, it’s important to make good lifestyle choices, such as avoiding direct UV sun exposure, staying hydrated, eating a healthy diet, and not smoking. With these practices, patients can enjoy the benefits of AccuTite Skin Tightening for years to come.
