Take note of the following side effects before going for a Morpheus8 treatment. This will let you know if this treatment is right for your skin.
Swelling
You’ll sometimes experience swelling in the treatment area after taking Morpheus8. This can be a result of injuries done by the micro-needling device. However, you don’t need to worry, as Morpheus8 is safe for all skin types, and your skin sensitivity will determine the extent of the swelling.
Redness
Redness in the treatment area is also a very common side-effect of Morpheus8. The micro-needling device also causes the redness of your skin in response to the procedure. However, most skins don’t experience this redness for a long time.
Occasional pain
You shouldn’t be surprised when you occasionally feel pain after a Morpheus8 treatment. It may take a day or two before the pain subsides. However, you can request medications from the doctor to help reduce the pain.
Discoloration
This is not a common side-effect of Morpheus8 treatment, as it can be caused when your skin reacts to it. In this case, leaving it for at least two weeks is advisable for the marks to fade. Contact your doctor for medical advice if you don’t experience any change after two weeks.
Scabbing
Don’t worry if you notice a rough skin texture immediately after treatment. It’s usually a part of the healing process associated with Morpheus8 procedures. You don’t have to peel off the scabs, so you don’t injure yourself. Your skin will come back to its normal texture after a few days.
